Product Safety and Installation Notice

Qualified installation required

Hardwired lighting should be installed and serviced by a qualified licensed electrician in accordance with product instructions, rating labels, local electrical codes, and building requirements.

Pre-installation inspection

Before installation, inspect the fixture and confirm model, finish, dimensions, voltage, wattage, bulb base, dimming compatibility, location rating, parts, and condition. Do not install a visibly damaged, incomplete, or incompatible product.

Structural support

Confirm that the junction box, ceiling, wall, anchors, and supporting structure can carry the fixture’s full weight. Large or heavy chandeliers may require structural reinforcement, specialized lifting equipment, and multiple installers.

Electrical compatibility

Disconnect power at the breaker. Use only compatible voltage, bulbs, LED drivers, transformers, and dimmers. Do not exceed rated wattage. Flicker, buzzing, overheating, or failure may result from incompatible components.

Location ratings

Do not install a product outdoors or in a wet or damp location unless the product page and rating label expressly authorize that use. Indoor dry-location fixtures must remain protected from moisture and condensation.

Natural and fragile materials

Handle alabaster, marble, glass, crystal, ceramic, and hand-finished components carefully. Attach decorative elements only after the frame is securely mounted, following the supplied sequence.

Stop use

Switch off power and stop using a fixture that shows overheating, smoke, unusual odor, sparking, loose support, cracked electrical parts, or other unsafe conditions. Contact a qualified electrician and Lampmodern.
